Supervision & Workshops
I provide consultation services regarding mental health and child/adolescent development to child-focused school programs. I have consulted and advised with school administration, school counselors, and school mental health staff regarding children of all ages and all grade levels.
Supervision can be valuable to both the patient and the therapist. I often provide supervision and consultation to therapists, counselors, and interns who work on schools or clinical settings.
We will work collaboratively to reinforce fundamental professional competencies such as: the development of analytical skills and conceptual abilities, the development of an analytic and therapeutic identity, monitoring quality of treatment, the therapeutic relationship, self-reflection, assessment and diagnosis, and interventions.
My extensive experience in different professional settings has versed me in a variety of techniques that I employ in order to tailor the therapeutic process given the specific challenges and issues that patients bring to sessions.
I have supervised graduate students in individual and group therapy and continue to be part of consultation and peer supervision groups for therapists.
I am pleased to be able to share those skills with supervisees and colleagues.
